Tab Trade - The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
